Job Description

ROLE: E-COMMERCE HEAD
LOCATION: GURGAON


WORKING DAYS: 6 DAYS (Monday to Saturday) (2nd & 4th Saturday off)


JOB SUMMARY: The Head of E-commerce will be responsible for driving the online business strategy, increasing revenue, and enhancing customer experience for the retail brand. This role involves managing online sales, digital marketing, website operations, customer experience, and omnichannel strategies to ensure seamless integration with offline stores.


PREFERRED BACKGROUND: 


Prior experience in D2C brands, fashion, FMCG, electronics, or lifestyle retail.


Exposure to international e-commerce markets is a plus.


KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: 


Proven experience (8-13 years) in e-commerce, digital marketing, or retail business leadership.
Experience in managing marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and omnichannel retailing.


Analytical mindset with expertise in Google Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau for data-driven decisions.


Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


Ability to stay ahead of e-commerce trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Strategic Leadership & Business Growth


  • Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and brand visibility.
  • Identify new growth opportunities, including D2C, marketplaces, and omnichannel retail strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, logistics, and operations to align e-commerce with overall business objectives.

Website & Platform Management


  • Oversee the performance and development of the brand’s e-commerce website (UI/UX, product listings, checkout process, etc.).
  • Manage integrations with ERP, CRM, and payment gateways for seamless operations.
  • Ensure site performance, security, and functionality meet industry best practices.

Marketplace & Omnichannel Management


  • Oversee e-commerce presence across Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, Tata Cliq, and other relevant platforms.
  • Manage relationships with marketplace partners and ensure compliance with platform guidelines.
  • Integrate online and offline sales through click-and-collect, endless aisle, and same-day delivery models.
