As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.Coordinate and direct various services related to shift operations, ensuring smooth and efficient hotel functioningProvide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all guests, maximising customer satisfactionEnsure the safety and security of guests, visitors, and employees by working closely with hotel security personnelOptimise room inventory usage through monitoring, control, and feedback to support departmentsOversee emergency operations to minimise hotel losses and liabilityEnsure adherence to company policies and operational standards by all departmental employeesPrepare daily written reports summarising activities and operations during your shift for senior managementResolve guest complaints promptly and effectively, taking appropriate actions to ensure guest satisfactionHandle interactions with government officials, press, and other external stakeholders as neededAuthorise payments and open stores in case of emergenciesImplement and maintain energy-saving policies throughout the hotelSupervise and motivate staff, providing guidance and support as necessaryQualificationsBachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)5-7 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel, with a proven track record in management rolesStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectivelyExcellent problem-solving abilities and decisiveness in handling complex situationsProficiency in hotel management software and systemsThorough knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage servicesFamiliarity with company documentation and operational standardsStrong understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industryExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer serviceAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysDemonstrated organisational skills and attention to detailResilience and ability to remain calm under pressureFluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
