Job Description:


The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of safety and security within the facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, adaptability, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee daily operations and staff management


Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations


Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback


Manage and resolve incidents or emergencies


Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations


Monitor and maintain service quality standards


Conduct regular inspections of the facility


Manage staff schedules and allocate resources effectively


Provide training and support to team members


Prepare and submit reports on operations, incidents, and performance


Required Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a management role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational management software
  • First aid and emergency response training (preferred)

Role Overview:


The Duty Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the facility. They are the primary point of contact for staff and customers during their shift, responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment. The role requires a balance of operational management, customer service, and leadership skills.


Duty Managers must be able to adapt to changing situations, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and make decisions that align with company policies and procedures. They are expected to lead by example, motivate their team, and uphold the organization's standards and values.


This role often involves working irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as the position typically covers all operational hours of the facility.
