Purpose of the Role:
The DuPont Water Solutions business has an opening for a DRP Planner in the Pacific Region based in India. The DRP Planner will assure that business-defined service offerings are met at the lowest possible total cost to serve within the area. And are consistent with the established business service standards. This role is typically seen as the focal point or "go to" person within the supply chain organization related to understanding the details on the demand side (customers, markets and downstream requirements), as well as the supply side (manufacturing operations capacity/capability and constraints) for materials shipped to regional warehouses in India.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Run demand supply balance in APO for materials shipped into regional warehouses.
- Replenish inventory based on demand supply balance.
- Review stock low/high and stock out, maintain material masters, routes; review MRP exceptions
- Keep close communication with commercial teams in the region as well as globally to understand business needs and impact on supply/demand balances
- Communicate with and coordinate for order processing including ATP failure, supply issue resolution, order delivery schedule change. Work closely with CSRs for STO creation.
- Provide input to and participate as required in the IBP process
- Support supply chain initiatives by interfacing with other supply chain personnel in the business and shared services
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics (i.e. DSI, OTD, OTS, ATP, and inventory) and supply chain performance data vs. plan. Identify improvement opportunities and implement projects. Manage stock level and disposition of slow-moving inventory.
- Proactively address potential failure modes by identification of risk mitigation plans, whether through enhanced operating discipline or implementation of metrics and monitoring.
- When problems arise, drive issue resolution through use of root cause investigation methodology and application of LEAN or Six Sigma tools.
- Be a superuser of APO, ECC and SFDC, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a discipline demonstrating logical thinking or computational skills (Prefer Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business).
- Prefer at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in other supply chain roles (logistics, operations, ITO or improvement), manufacturing, or customer service is very beneficial.

Criteria:
- SAP R2, R3, ECC, APO or other ERP system working experience
- Must have proficient verbal and written English language skills
- APICS CPIM Certification preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader certification preferred
- Must be proficient in Business Objects or other Data Warehouse applications and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications and database tools
