Drama and Theater Teacher needed in a school in Vijayawada.
Joining in June.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement an engagingtheater curriculumthat aligns with international standards.
Conductacting, script writing, voice modulation, and improvisationlessons.
Organize and directschool plays, skits, and drama competitions.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate drama intointerdisciplinary learning.
Guide students in developingpublic speaking, storytelling, and stage presence.
Managestage productions, including script selection, rehearsals, costumes, and set design.
Encourage students toparticipate in external theater events and competitions.
Provideconstructive feedbackto students to help them grow in performance and confidence.
Maintain aninclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inTheater Arts, Performing Arts, or a related field.
2+ yearsof experience teaching drama/theater to school students (IB/International curriculum experience preferred).
Strongacting, directing, and stage managementskills.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonalabilities.
Passionate about working with children and fosteringcreativity.
Experience inlighting, sound, and technical aspectsof theater is a plus.
