Job Description

The CSO team works with all internal Kroll business units to research, curate and update financial & risk related business data into financial models using various internal and external sources. The team’s work involves researching & collection of financial & business data available in various publicly available sources and Kroll proprietary files and data, subsequent analysis thereof and eventually quality control of the same information.


The Position: 


In the ever-evolving landscape of business operations, the role of a transition head becomes pivotal. This individual is entrusted with the critical task of steering operational changes seamlessly, ensuring that each transition is executed with precision and aligned with strategic objectives. The Transition Lead’s expertise lies in navigating complex scenarios, mitigating risks, and optimizing processes to achieve organizational goals efficiently. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing operational transitions in Kroll and ensure that the transitions are implemented according to schedule. You'll also update management and internal stakeholders on any prospective transition-related changes. In the future state, the role would move into operations management and oversight of the delivery of service to our internal stakeholders. 


The Transition and Delivery Lead is the owner of the transition, change management and eventually will have responsibilities of operations of the services that were transitioned. 


Roles and Responsibilities:   


Transition: 


  • The Transition Lead will be the point of contact for the assigned stakeholder manager and with the delivery managers for the related process transitions
  • Coordinate and work closely with all the managers on managing the stakeholder relationship, knowledge transfer, pilot runs, SLA definitions, improvements and controls 
  • Lead / participate in opportunity analysis / due diligence of potential projects. 
  • Ensure project specifications (timelines, budget, SLAs) are achieved, 
  • Plan and manage operational transitions of service tasks from businesses within Kroll to CSO.
  • Develop detailed transition plans, timelines, ensuring alignment with the larger objective.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on transition progress.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Facilitate training and support for delivery analysts.
  • Monitor transition performance and implement improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the transition process.
  • Develop actionable insights that can be used to make business decisions by building reports and dashboards.
  • Understand business stakeholders’ objectives, metrics that are most important to them, and how they measure performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies through centralization and technology enhancements 
  • Understand strategic business objectives of the stakeholder and facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. 
  • Identify and define business case; define project tasks and resource requirements; develop detailed transition plan depending on solution complexity, priorities and deliverables. 
  • Responsible for risk management - understand the business and operational risks and develop and execute mitigation plans. 
  • Strong focus on deliverables - do whatever it takes to meet timelines and quality of deliverables 

Operations: 


  • Operational Excellence: Implement best practices and operational frameworks to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all functions within the shared services.
  • Talent Management: Lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure the team's growth and engagement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, business unit heads, and global counterparts to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to streamline processes, automate workflows, and enhance service delivery through innovation and technology.
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, data security standards, and company policies within the shared services operations.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and drive accountability within the team.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for the GCC/Shared Services, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives within the organization, promoting a culture of agility, adaptability, and resilience.

Qualifications/Skills: 


  • 15+ years of experience in leading Transitions and implementation of new business in the BPO industry. 
  • Extensive experience in client-facing operational role and having led large teams 
  • Experience of working and delivering complex Transitions, Implementations and projects. 
  • Demonstrated ability in managing solutions/ transitions for analytics projects. 
  • Demonstrated experience in ramping up operations. 
  • Needs to be comfortable with working across various time zones 
  • Strong client facing skills and ability to communicate and clearly articulate business ideas and concepts clearly 
  • Ability to work and communicate with people across organizational units 
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action plans
