The Analytics and Operations Director will manage our data analysis and business operations. This is a leadership role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring strategic alignment of data analytics and operational procedures to meet business objectives. This position will work closely with data engineers and end uses to manage the integrity of our data feeds, the establishment of sound data integrity practices, our data compliance, and the development and delivery of analytics and reporting to RSS members and out clients.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Relevant work experience:
o Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a leadership position
o Strong understanding of data analysis, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
o Advanced Knowledge of data analysis tools and software
o Collaborating on and with enterprise-wide products, projects, and programs
o Deriving insights and action items through analysis
o Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office)
o Exceptional presentation, consultative, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Payment industry experience preferred
- Big data and advanced language experience preferred (AWS, Hadoop, Data Bricks, Python, Spark)
- 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 10 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 5 years of relevant experience with a PhD
