In this role, you will be designing and leading the engineering teams that deliver complex platforms and capabilities for continuously evolving real-time and offline decisioning which enable our customers to successfully leverage our products as intended, block bad actors, and ensure global financial regulatory compliance. The role will help shape the strategic direction, participate in long term roadmap definition for the teams, drive the engineering execution of the roadmap, and provide engineering leadership on a day-to-day basis. This critical and strategic role will oversee multiple cross functional areas in engineering and enable them to deliver extraordinary technology and business outcomes. You would be performing below responsibilities –


Role Responsibilities


  • Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of software engineers and build a culture of accountability 
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your teams
  • Work with product leaders to define the strategy, roadmap and destination architecture
  • Influence executive stakeholders
  • Manage a portfolio of diverse technology platforms and projects to build scalable applications that meet our customer needs
  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
  • Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
  • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
  • Involvement in Planning, Design, Architecture, Technical Reviews, and Releases; removing impediments in execution; defining metrics to measure success; ensuring highest Quality, Predictability and Productivity. Actively participate in the Architectural decision-making process and help define the architectural runway for the platform.
  • Responsible for Recruitment, Team Engagement, Coaching and Mentoring, Defining Goals, Performance Management, Recognition, Defining and executing upskilling programs.
  • Innovation (Evaluating and implementing innovative engineering practices, tools and technologies), Waste Reduction through lean agile process etc.

Role Requirements


  • 15+ years of over-all engineering experience with 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Knowledge of API architecture and microservices, AWS services, upstream dependencies and platform as a service concept on delivery.
  • Experience with ML Ops, Data Enrichment, and Predictive Behavior Analytics.
  • Managed application engineering services portfolio of 50+ people for a large global organization
  • Ability to define and review platform architecture and build enhancement proposals
  • Experience in Cloud based architecture and understanding of distributed architectures and its challenges.
  • Experience in dealing with high volume, low latency systems viz. scalability, reliability, performance management, observability.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with an emphasis on engineering excellence, employee engagement, collaboration, innovation, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with stakeholders and partners globally.
  • Strong presentation skills to articulate technology and business solutions to internal stakeholders and external partners and drive consensus.
  • Focus on introducing innovative engineering practices, tools and technologies to continuously improve the quality of the systems and optimize efforts.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire everyone to do their best work, resolve conflicts and nurture a positive work environment.
  • Experience with Agile software development processes and tools, experience in leading large solutions using Scaled Agile.
  • Experience in Financial Services domain, experience in Money Transfer Services Business or Payments.
