Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the dynamic and fast-growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG/ Retail) market inIndia Region/marke You will possess a deep understanding of the nuances of the India Region/market, coupled with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the region.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored specifically to the unique characteristics of the India Region/market. 


  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and opportunities to drive revenue growth and increase market penetration.


  • Expand our presence in existing markets and explore new market entry opportunities within the region.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor product offerings and marketing strategies to meet the needs of the India Region/market.


Sales Team Leadership:


  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team capable of achieving ambitious sales targets within the region.


  • Set clear sales targets and performance metrics for the team, and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure success.


  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the sales team.


Sales Forecasting and Reporting:


  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets based on market analysis and sales trends within India Region/market.


  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting opportunities for growth and improvement.


  • Implement corrective actions as needed to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.


Cross-functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop localized sales collateral, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns for the India Region/market.
