Overview
The Security Threat and Response Management Program is looking for a Director to join our team to support Regional Security for South Asia. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cyber and information security policies, governance, highly motivated, analytical, experienced in cybersecurity with exposure to regulatory environment and industry forums.
In this role, you will:
• Provide cyber and physical security leadership and representation to internal senior stakeholders, technology teams, risk and governance committees for South Asia division.
• Collaborate with broader Corporate Security team and cross-functional stakeholders to drive preparedness and implementation of security requirements from internal and external audits, regulatory obligations and related compliance requirements.
• Leverage knowledge of current technology, business environment, geo-political situation, to prompt security considerations and recommended actions.
• Lead and manage security reviews in partnership with security engineering team for Mastercard products and services in the region.
• Represent Mastercard on external forums and drive partnerships to promote the Mastercard brand, security thought leadership, share relevant information with industry peers, government, law enforcement etc. on cyber resilience and cybersecurity awareness, threat intelligence etc.
• Oversight and management of physical security operations, driving security culture and awareness, assisting on security incidents and crisis events.
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Have strong understanding of cyber security, governance and risk management practices and physical security operations.
• Experience in handling security audits, conducting assessments, senior stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and guidelines such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, NIST SP800-53.
• Preferred security certification e.g. CISSP, CISM, PSP
• Be seen as a trusted advisor who understands business processes and can provide security consultation and advisory.
• Confident, analytical and able to drive security discussions with internal and external stakeholders
• Be a team player, culturally aware and able to collaborate with cross-regional teams
• Possess good communication and people management skills
