Director, Project ManagementDirector, Project Management - Brighterion
At Brighterion, as part of Mastercard Security Services, we lead the industry in providing artificial intelligence for mission critical decision making. Our world-class software operates at scale to detect and inform in real-time, across tens of thousands of events per second. We are currently seeking a Director of Project Management to lead our growing team of PMs globally. In this role, you will work with data scientists, product managers, architects, engineers to manage various development projects internally and for our external customers. This will be a management position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage current team of Project Managers
• Ensure customers' required features are allocated to appropriate planned releases. Monitor the release dates against customer's expected timelines
• Participate in customer meetings, provide status where necessary
• Create, monitor and track an integrated customer deployment project plan.
• Create, monitor and track customer onboarding project plans
• Provide oversight on the deployment and onboarding tasks across all customers. Provide regular status, and report roadblocks to all stakeholders.
• Co-ordinate customer deployment or onboarding tasks with internal teams, or Mastercard teams as required.
• Work with customer success to create, standardize, and improve customer deployment, and onboarding processes (internal and external). Document these processes in the Play book.
REQUIREMENTS:
• People Management Experience
• Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
• Excellent English speaking and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance testing.
• Ability to take and understand commitment to deliver the product on time and with a sense of urgency.
• Know about the value of metrics, incremental delivery and project documentation.
• Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories, Kanban, etc.
• Familiar with common development practices and software development
• Problem and conflict resolution skills
• Degree in Computer Science or related STEM fields preferred
