POSITION SUMMARY


Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) is a $200M strategic business unit that improves the productivity and profitability of industrial facilities in India (Global - $2.4 billion). HPS offers a full range of automation and control solutions to key vertical markets, including Refinery and Petrochemicals, New Energy (BESS, Green H2, Solar.), Pulp & Paper, Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, Automation for Giga-factories, and Industrial software applications.


The position is of India Business Leadership of Project & Automation Solution (PAS). The PAS Business delivers automation and control projects and solutions to our customers and helping them operate at peak efficiency from Day 1. The role leads India P&AS LOB to ensure HPS delivers best in class solutions to meet customer expectations whilst achieving safety, quality, schedule and financial goals. Lead the technical execution, functional and project management disciplines necessary to enhance the competitive position of HPS to meet growth objectives. Leverage on strong local presence and capabilities to deliver and align with local customer.


This role requires a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset, focusing on sustainable business growth and execution capabilities, a profound understanding of business practices, and the ability to cultivate relationships with ecosystem partners and customers. The role will work with sales team to explore and develop business growth opportunities, drive strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives.


This role develops, sustains, and leverages Senior Executive relationships at the Customer and end users ; will have operations leaders as direct reports; represents India in the global HON organization / Global PAS Business in the relevant Region;


The role is responsible for delivering sustainable business results with full AOP accountability. AOP accountability includes Orders, Revenue, Income, Cash Flow, CAPEX investments & headcount planning. Management of the project execution and profitability; balancing business margins and operating costs/productivity vs. growth opportunities.


Success Factors for this position lies in global and local Stakeholder management; building partnerships with Finance, Legal, Sourcing,Engineering ,Supply Chain and ISC


The leader will be responsible for building a high-performance culture by making People Development and Performance Management a top priority


Responsibility extends to ensuring adherence and project delivery according to Global Code of Conduct, Schedule of Executive Approvals (SEA), Global Project Methodology (GPM), Global Quality Management Systems (QMS), Health & Safety Policies as well as complying with Governance and Accounting practices and processes.


Education level and/or relevant experience(s)


  • BE, MBA/ Advanced Business Degree preferred

Knowledge and skills (General and Technical)


  • Extensive experience in the Industrial Automation or Relevant Industry.
  • Professional Operational experience.
  • General Management experience responsible for P&L results.
  • 10+ years of customer and project experience.
  • Process Automation, project management experience.

Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required)


  • High degree of business acumen with primary orientation toward process/systems, speed, cost quality and creating customer value and results.
  • Change management skills through continuous exploration and learning.
