Designation: Director Digital Operations


Location: Mumbai and Delhi


About the role:


As Director of Digital Operations, India, you will oversee all aspects of Iron Mountain’s Digital Operations in the region, reporting directly to the VP, Global Digital Operations. You will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, financial performance, employee engagement, and operational excellence across various service lines, including high-volume paper-to-image scanning, digital mailroom, Intelligent Document Processing, and business process management services.


In this role, you will lead the India Digital Services P&L, setting multi-year financial and operational goals, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support growth. You'll also play a critical role in aligning with global strategy, evolving operational capabilities, and ensuring a seamless client experience.


Key Responsibilities


  • Service Delivery: Lead and ensure on-time, quality delivery of all digital operations, meeting key customer performance metrics.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead production teams in optimizing capacity, workflow adherence, and safety protocols.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with IT, Sales, and Commercial teams to align operational status and resolve challenges.
  • Financial Execution: Develop and oversee financial planning and performance for digital operations, ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Business Development: Support sales efforts and client relationship management to drive revenue growth and implement new business solutions.
  • Leadership & Talent Development: Foster a high-performance culture, mentor talent, and drive organizational effectiveness through proactive leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile


  • 15+ years of experience leading operations, with a focus on digital services, business process management, or technology-enabled services.
  • Strong P&L experience and financial acumen with the ability to forecast and manage complex budgets.
  • Proven leadership in building high-performing teams and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in digital operations, including Intelligent Document Processing and ECM, with strong strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence and drive change across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
