As one of Accelya's IT Service Directors you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing Accelya's go to market IT services and infrastructure. This role is vital for ensuring that Accelya's IT services are efficient, secure, and aligned with business objectives. You will interact with business leadership to ensure that requirements are understood, measured and delivered to meet our customer needs.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
- Align IT strategies with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals.
- Influence and manage across the IT organization.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management:
- Ensure that business driven initiatives are prioritized across the IT organization.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
System and Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure the reliable and secure operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure appropriate data, information, dashboards are available to communicate service health (capacity, SLA, performance, etc.) to business leadership.
- Monitor and analyze technology trends to improve processes and performance
Cybersecurity:
- Ensure that robust cybersecurity measures are implemented and maintained.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and prevention methods.
Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Assist in and negotiate contracts for IT services and products.
Budget Management:
- Report on the IT department’s budget and expenditures as it relates to business line comsumption.
- Ensure that costs are optimized while maintaining high service standards.
Business and Customer Support:
- Ensure efficient resolution of technical issues for customers.
- Where applicable developing and providing input for customer RCA's.
- Conduct training sessions on new technologies and systems.
