This is a critical leadership role in the Financial Reporting Quality Assurance Organization (FRQA) organization within Corporate Controllership and is responsible for leading the Regulatory Automation Data Testing Center of Excellence in charge of delivering the end-to-end automation certification of our regulatory reporting platform(s). Additionally, this team plays a key role in the coordination and partnership of Regulatory Reporting Owners, Product Owners, Data Sourcing Architects, Technology teams and others, during the analysis, design, validation, and migration phases for test cases of solutions that need to be implemented into production. 


How will you make an impact in this role?


The Director of Analytics & Automation Testing leads the data certification process for the US Regulatory Reporting Automation Program, performing analysis and quality assurance of financial data, new features, and capabilities of our modernized and legacy regulatory automation platforms.


These activities are performed at regular intervals to ensure all features align with original tech requirements and specs provided to the team, ensuring that all functionalities are according to expectation by reporting process and business owners. Because of this, the Director must be a well-organized, action-oriented with exceptional leadership, focused on time management, with high confidence in presenting, and building a network of strong relationships across the organization.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


·Lead the identification of business requirements and development of functional requirement documentation, related to functional design, prototypes, and implementation of specific data designs related to data requirements of the Test Lifecycle to meet regulatory report changes.


·Guides the teams through the understanding of core components of the solution architecture including data patterns, capabilities, and standardization and conformance of disparate datasets.


·Lead and guide data analysis efforts performed by team on existing processes and datasets to understand and support Point of Arrival (POA) process design, determining portfolios, data elements and grain of data required for designing processes.


·Strategic leadership on user acceptance testing, parallel run testing, and any other testing required, ensuring the build meets the requirements authored including development and execution of test cases, and documentation of results.


·Leads with expertise the development of executable testing algorithms using tools such as SQL, that enable validation of the expected system functionality, including replication of deterministic logic and filtering criteria.


Minimum Qualifications


·Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Information Technologies (master’s preferred)


·8+ years of work experience in Banking/Regulatory/Financial Services


·5+ years of work experience in Data Testing Management / Data Certification processes


·Experience developing and reviewing Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Test Evidence Documents, Test Summary Reports, and other deliverables.


·Experienced in Agile delivery concepts or other project management methodologies.


·Proven people leadership experience and ability to attract, engage and retain talent.


·Strong SQL and data analysis experience, able to write complex SQL, PL/SQL, HiveQL


·Knowledgeable about Operational Data Stores (ODS), Oracle Financials, and Hadoop concepts


·Experience in data analytics, data profiling, data mapping, of System of Record (SOR) data


·Experience with of MS Excel, Power Query, and other analytical tools, e.g., Tableau.


·Foundational data warehousing principles and data modeling experience


·Ability to meet and exceed critical deadlines, managing multiple deliverables simultaneously.


·Self-starter, proactive team player, passionate for delivering high quality and exceed expectations.


·Excellent written and verbal communications with ability to communicate highly complex concepts in simple and pragmatic terms.
