The acquisition of Refinitiv by the LSEG in 2021 has resulted in a sophisticated finance organization. LSEG now operates on two Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) systems – Oracle EBS (LSEG) and SAP ECC6 (Refinitiv). As a result of the different heritage systems, LSEG also operates dual business processes, control environments and data structures. We have selected Oracle Fusion as a single ERPM platform for the new combined organization, mobilized the programme and are currently closing out our Design phase. There are 3 major streams of work:Implementing a new ERPM platform across the group, replacing the existing legacy ERP and performance management systems with a single data model and future proof ERP that can better support finance reporting and insight.Delivering product hierarchy and ‘connecting the dots’ across all related programmes of change across the group.Crafting a new Target Operating Model demonstrating automated and standardized processes and enabling a capability uplift across the organisation.What you'll be doing:Define data management strategies to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security for interim stages of the Oracle Fusion roll out and for the end-state.Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures for Oracle Fusion and connected systems within Finance and other Corporate Functions.Lead the change management of the new Information Model in collaboration with product teams.Establish data quality metrics and supervising mechanisms to measure and improve data accuracy.Coordinate various data migration projects, ensuring smooth transition and validation of data.Engage with internal Data teams to ensure Finance adheres to evolving best practices.Be an advocate for consistency while meeting strategic divisional requirements and other business driver.Define and supervise conformance to data hierarchies, relationships, and attributes to support business processes.Supply to development and maintenance of data models, queries, and reports to support operational and analytical needs.Ensure data lineage and propagation between transactional and reporting systems is coherent, managed and understood by users.Stay updated on ERP system updates, improvements, and industry best practices related to data management.Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of data management workflows.Ensure data security measures are implemented and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Collaborate with IT security teams to address data privacy and access control issues.You'll bring:Proven experience of having delivered a large-scale data-related project for a complex, regulated multi-national organizationExperience of taking data policy frameworks and translating them to a roadmap of fixes for a sophisticated system estate, preferably in FinanceStrong leadership skills and people management capability – leading by example to help grow teamsGood stakeholder leadership skills, able to manage and appreciate different views and identify the best course of action, getting consensus along the wayAn open-minded approach to driving solution; balancing previous experience with the specific circumstances and requirements at LSEGA collaborative and positive demeanor to help overcome hurdles and drive engagementAt LSEG, we believe that crafting a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise – and our purpose.
