Our Technology centers focus on creating a space where teams can come together to deliver business solutions that save and improve lives. An integral part of the company IT operating model, Tech centers are globally distributed locations where each IT division has employees to enable our digital transformation journey and drive business outcomes. These locations, in addition to the other sites, are essential to supporting our business and strategy.
A focused group of leaders in each tech center helps to ensure we can manage and improve each location, from investing in growth, success, and well-being of our people, to making sure colleagues from each IT division feel a sense of belonging to managing critical emergencies. And together, we must leverage the strength of our team to collaborate globally to optimize connections and share best practices across the Tech Centers.
Role Overview:
The Director,DnA and Automation Lead, will be instrumental in driving the company's data strategy and automation efforts, enabling intelligent decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.
What will you do in this role:
·Define and execute the vision and strategy for Data and Automation (DnA) within the technology partnership framework
·Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy that encompasses data governance, data quality, and data integration to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
·Spearhead the identification and execution of automation opportunities across the organization, leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
·Collaborate with various business units to identify technology partnership opportunities that enhance data utilization and drive automation initiatives.
·Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data analysts, automation specialists, and data engineers.
·Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data and automation initiatives.
·Assess and recommend new technologies that can enhance organizational capabilities.
·Align outcomes across multiple Global Support functions and ensure investments align with strategic technology decisions, driving business outcomes in line with the company’s Digital Strategy.
·Translate business strategy into Technology strategy for Data & Analytics for Global Support functions, including Finance, HR, Procurement, Facilities, Legal & Compliance, Business Development, and Environmental Sustainability.
·Support overall EIT objectives by working collaboratively with other Value Team Leads, Product Line Leads, and Product Managers to ensure that the EIT DnA backlog delivers on enterprise outcomes and priorities.
·Communicate strategy and portfolio to key business stakeholders and facilitate buy-in across key stakeholders.
·Gather strategic requirements from business leaders and Value teams; align these needs with Product Roadmaps.
What Should you have:
·Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications is preferred.
·10+ years of experience in data management, analytics, and automation, with a solid understanding of technology partnerships.
·Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving data-driven decision-making.
·Strong expertise in data governance, data architecture, and data integration techniques.
·Familiarity with automation tools and technologies, including RPA, Machine Learning, and AI solutions.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to strategy development.
