The Director, Data Solution Management is responsible for envisioning, designing, and implementing best-in-class data solutions for Credit and Fraud Risk strategies across multiple markets. This role involves collaboration with product managers, product owners, engineering leaders, and business management teams to support the roadmap of critical projects.

This role will lead a team of high performing data solutioning specialists and ensures that the platform meets the evolving needs of the enterprise through continual innovation for new use cases to fuel growth. This individual also collaborates with multiple teams to drive business outcomes. This role requires strong organizational, technical, and creative problem-solving skills. It also requires strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across multiple levels of leadership. This leader works well in a dynamic, complex environment and supports the launch of new features across markets and products.


Key Responsibilities: - 


  • Lead a high performing team of data solution architects
  • Work with solution management team to identify and analyze the data needs across different journeys
  • Define the data flow across systems along with integration patterns 
  • Develop and maintain conceptual and logical data models
  • Define the data consumption principles and architecture 
  • Define design patterns for complex data structures 
  • Coordinate with the product managers and data stewards to assess future needs and requirements, and sync up with respective Share Service/API owners
  • Interacts with customers to identify needs, opportunities, and gaps, and solve problems
  • Brainstorms and negotiates effectively with various stakeholders to continuously define feature priority 
  • Help team develop products by making difficult tradeoffs and removing roadblocks
  • Defines and executes the deployment plan, working to ensure that partners have what they need to be successful
  • Establishes the product’s goals and reviewing success metrics to achieve success. 
  • Develop a high performing team through leadership and coaching styles that nurture self-awareness and growth; practice mindfulness and agility; elevate courage in expressing difficult matters



Minimum Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 8 years of experience in Data Products (as Data Architect or Product Owner or Data Steward) and SME in Financial Industry, Agile experience is Plus. 
  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven history of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset.
  • An established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework, and principles.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for great products and services and an ability to articulate product functionality.
  • Understanding of the evolving compliance and regulatory requirements and environment and how to incorporate technology, infrastructure, and security requirements into the product design.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
  • An ability to solve complex problems and a highly analytical approach.
  • Risk products experience is highly desired
