Role Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced professional for the role of Director - Data & Intelligence to architect and lead a robust data-driven strategy that transforms our customer data into a high-impact, strategic asset for our trade fair successes. This senior-level role is ideal for a self-motivated, strategic thinker with proven expertise in data consolidation, analytics, and insights. The Director will be empowered to build and oversee a high-performing team, creating a centralized, scalable, and dynamic data ecosystem to enhance engagement and boost relevant footfalls to our trade fairs.
Roles and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
A. Data Strategy & Governance
- Develop and execute an overarching data strategy to centralize customer data, building a high-quality, actionable data ecosystem.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Lead data standardization and integration efforts, ensuring all customer data sources feed into a centralized platform for unified insights.
B. Data Acquisition & Growth
- Spearhead data growth through effective data acquisition strategies, expanding high-quality customer data from both organic and paid sources.
- Build relationships with key data partners, leveraging diverse sources to strengthen the customer data pipeline.
- Manage data from lead generation campaigns, optimizing data inflow for quality and impact on business goals.
C. Data Analytics & Insights
- Drive analytics to generate actionable insights on visitor pre-registrations, footfall, and conversions, supporting strategic marketing and sales decisions.
- Create and oversee metrics dashboards to provide real-time analytics on data quality and lead performance.
- Work closely with marketing to optimize data responsiveness and engagement through targeted digital campaigns.
D. Team Leadership
- Build and lead a skilled team, including Data Acquisition Specialists and Data Analysts, fostering an environment of data-driven insight and innovation.
- Coach team members in advanced data techniques, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
- Establish OKRs that drive individual and team performance, focused on impactful data solutions and actionable intelligence.
