Payments Consulting Product Group is focused on developing and/or enhancing consulting led solutions on key topics such as Card Payments, Commercial & New Payment Flows, Payment Performance Optimisation, Payment Operations, Innovation & Transformation, and Acceptance Solutions. Payments Consulting Product Group continues to experience strong growth and currently the group generates a sizeable revenue for Services' instead?
For 2025, Acceptance & Acquiring Solutions has been identified as one of the key topics that will drive the growth engine. The Acceptance Solutions team is now looking to hire a Director – Product Management to drive the business forward. As a Director – Product Management, you'll be integral to shaping our Acceptance Solutions’ future success, collaborating closely with senior leadership to define and implement new ideas, solutions, projects and lead strategic initiatives.
Role
This role demands a blend of consulting expertise, analytical acumen, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and the ability to drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include:
• engaging in strategic discussions with senior leadership to shape long-term strategic direction for Acceptance Solutions
• building and managing product backlog for Acceptance Solutions
• collaborating with cross-functional teams (BDs, Account Teams, Product teams, Core, CSC etc.) to define product strategies, GTM, integrated narratives, sales playbooks
• developing and implementing tools and processes for data-driven decision-making
• establishing a center of excellence to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure best practices across business lines and strategic initiatives
• prepare and delivering insightful presentations to senior stakeholders
• staying updated on acquiring / acceptance industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic initiatives
All About You
• 8+ years of experience in management consulting, innovation, product management, or startup enviornment
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the Payments industry, ideally with some exposure to merchant acquiring, payment acceptance ecosystem
• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and managing projects from inception to completion
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with an executioner mindset – someone who is willing to hit the ground running
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• High level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel skills (experience in Tableau is a plus)
• Self-motivated, with a high degree of initiative and autonomy
• Fluent in English
