Purpose of Role: We're looking for a visionary Digital Value Creation Manager to drive the market success of Weir's cutting-edge digital solutions platform, NEXT Intelligence, enhancing our market presence and driving revenue growth globally.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital strategy and a proven ability to turn innovative ideas into successful business ventures across the mining industry.


You will collaborate closely with divisional teams to navigate business goals and market dynamics effectively. By adopting the right systems, processes, and business development strategies to ensure our digital offerings are scalable and profitable throughout their lifecycle. With a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, you will unite diverse teams to successfully achieve our strategic objectives.
What is NEXT Intelligence?
NEXT Intelligence is Weir’s advanced digital platform that leverages real-time data, artificial intelligence, and smart technologies to transform mining operations. Through innovations like vibration monitoring, wear sensors, and condition tracking, it enables predictive maintenance, operational efficiency, and safety improvements. By integrating these technologies, NEXT Intelligence helps customers optimize their equipment usage, reduce downtime, and increase sustainability across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Commercialization & Pipeline Growth: Collaborate with regional teams to set commercial targets, build a robust sales pipeline, and deliver regular performance insights to drive direct and indirect revenue growth.


  • Business Development & Solution Launch: Lead the execution of tailored business development strategies and support the successful launch of digital solutions through effective commercialization training and post-launch monitoring.


  • Stakeholder Alignment & Team Enablement: Serve as the central contact for regional stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring strategic commercialization alignment with market needs and providing targeted enablement programs.


  • Process Optimization & Compliance: Establish and maintain effective systems, processes, and performance measures while ensuring adherence to internal compliance standards and mitigating commercialization risks


  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.



Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
 


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Digital Transformation, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercialization of digital products and services, preferably within the industrial or mining sectors.


  • Expertise: Strong understanding of digital product lifecycle management.


  • Proven ability to commercialize new product groups, develop roll-out plans, and execute strategic growth initiatives.


  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.


  • Ability to navigate complex market dynamics and drive business goals.


  • Demonstrated success in defining and implementing effective commercialization strategies for digital solutions, resulting in measurable revenue growth.


  • Extensive experience in building and managing robust sales pipelines, identifying high-value opportunities, and delivering scalable business development strategies.
