About the position:
The Digital Twin Deployment Advisor is part of the Technical Services organization that sits within the Chevron ENGINE Center and is responsible for coordinating new digital twin deployment asset selections, lead new digital twin asset deployments, ensure product performance, user acceptance, and adoption and support new digital twin use case opportunity evaluations. This position partners with all product lines and product families across Chevron's Surface Digital Platform (SDP) with a focus on deploying digital twin assets globally across Chevron business unit surface operations and exploring opportunities to integrate new and existing SDP digital products and business capabilities within the digital twin. This role will also maintain digital twin operational assets within the ENGINE
Key responsibilities:
Represent Surface Digital Twin in engagements with adopting Business Units leaders and customers to increase awareness of digital twin functions and capabilities through product demonstrations.
Evaluate new business unit asset deployment opportunities, develop deployment scoping, develop business value estimates, business and technical requirements, assess asset readiness, develop cost and schedule estimates, and maintain a digital twin asset deployment opportunity backlog.
Partner with Platform Product Line Product Managers and Architects evaluate new priority business use case opportunities to integrate engineering, operations, maintenance, inspection, and asset performance monitoring processes and workflows into digital twin, develop value/effort analysis and prioritization, and document opportunities in ADO kanban boards.
Support adopting business units, platform product lines and vendors development teams with digital twin deployment execution, deployment readiness preparations including asset data and information visualization scoping, field data and information collection and preparation, quality assurance, modeling and analytics development, data, modeling, and systems integration, solution acceptance testing, and on-site end-user training.
This position will require travel to business unit operational and field locations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, etc.) (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university
Working experience developing and deploying digital twin assets and integrating engineering, operations, maintenance, inspection, and/or asset performance monitoring processes, workflows, systems, and data.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with skilled proficiency in oil and gas production or processing facility engineering design and/or operations and maintenance engineering support processes, practices, and workflows, and project cost and schedule management.
Experience executing work using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) work practices.
Experience with Oil and Gas Production or Processing Facility Engineering design and construction, Operations and Maintenance support processes, practices, and workflows. Prior project management experience, ability to develop project scope, business case value estimates, project resource, cost and schedule estimates. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to develop creative and efficient solutions.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
