We’re looking for Squad lead role to join and lead our global Network Services team. This team is part of our Backbone Tribe and is responsible for all our global network (SDWan, LAN) and communication (fixed & mobile voice+data) services. The Backbone Tribe contains also Security Operations Center, Workplace Services, Global Service Desk, Workplace Identity & Access Management and Cloud & Hosting Services.

Working as Lead for the global Network Services Squad at Signify is dynamic. You‘ll be a key leader in running and optimizing the day to day processes around corporate networking and connectivity within Signify Digital function.  Providing support to a wide range of internal customers and projects across the globe. Both in day-2-day operational services and provisioning the required infrastructure services to our strategic digital projects.

A people, process-oriented manager with strong passion and experience into corporate network and communication world with excellent insight in upcoming technologies.  We’re greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.  As Squad Lead and people manager you will be responsible for motivating, guiding and managing a team of experienced professionals combined with a set of external partners.
You’ll be part of the Signify Backbone Tribe, operating globally, with team members in US, Bangalore and Eindhoven.  Your main responsibilities, besides the day-to-day operation, are to lead the team towards becoming an high performance, process and metrics driven team, and further shaping & executing our Network journey. So, strong people- and process-management skills and personal leadership must be in your DNA.

What you’ll do

• Establish and run a best in class global Network services in close collaboration with our key strategic partners
• Identifying and eliminating barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality
• Organizes, prioritizes and schedules work assignments to meet business need.
• Manages workforce, develops and maintains staff scheduling and capacity planning.
• Manage and further grow a diverse and qualified team that can support the execution and continuous innovation of your service portfolio.
• Manage the continuous transition towards our cloud centric journey combined with building a state-of-the-art agile global network & communications platform
• Optimizing the current Network Services Squad to become a highly effective orchestration capability with strong focus on both operational excellence (through our strategic partners) and continuous drive to innovate.
• Ensure proper and effective process interfacing with the main stakeholders.;

  • Digital Delivery for application support and application development (Projects)
• Participate in the Backbone Tribe Management team
• Ensures comprehensive, real-time status updates, organizational- and process- metrics reporting to Head of Backbone Tribe
• Report, inform and provide comfort to relevant stakeholders in Signify

• Your qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience10+ years in global network services related roles, 
• 5+ years managing teams in an time-sensitive and high-value operational roles.
• Experience of running a Network services department in a global dynamic environment
• Experience with process and task automation in an operational service-oriented environment.
• Extensive knowledge of modern network services platforms/technologies/processes (like eg SDWan, SDLan, xG, satellite, etc)
• Deep knowledge of operational processes, performance metrics and process- and service- maturity in technical operational teams.
• Familiarity with process and performance management and process optimization 
• Familiarity with Network services in an Agile operating model 
• Ability to provide leadership and razor-sharp focus during times of crisis and stressful situations.
  Ability to provide leadership and coaching/mentoring a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
