What you will do

In this vital role you will serve a critical function within Organizational, Planning, Analytics & Insights (OPA&I) with a goal of enterprise-wide, long-term workforce transformation by connecting people, financial, procurement & capability data to enable business insights & decisions. The Sr. Digital Product Owner will collaborate with the Tech and Data lead for OPA&I and will be responsible for developing and communicating the product roadmap in alignment to OPA&I strategic objectives.


Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and advance digital product capabilities for Organization Planning, Insights and Insights. This involves working closely with managers, directors and VPs across finance, workforce strategy, procurement, and other multi-functional teams to align on integrated processes. Collaborate with data engineers/scientists, software engineers and system engineers to identify opportunities for new features and enhancements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that these capabilities meet the needs of the multi-functional collaborator while staying aligned with the overall strategic goals for workforce planning.
  • Product Vision and Development Management: Drive product vision and run development processes, ensuring effective communication and Agile methodologies. As a product leader, you will define the product roadmap, maintain the backlog, and write detailed user stories. Your responsibilities will also include facilitating conceptualisation sessions, coordinating the rollout of new functionalities, and partnering with product owners and business owners to ensure successful implementation.
  • Process Improvement and Documentation: Enhance product efficiency through process improvements and maintain essential product artifacts and documentation. This includes identifying areas for process optimization, implementing standard methodologies to streamline development, and keeping thorough records of product-related documents such as playbooks and launch plans. Develop key documentation artifacts that align collaborators and development team and advance the product roadmap with high-value features. Develop a culture that emphasizes thorough documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you will ensure that the product development cycle is efficient and that all team members are well-informed and aligned.
What we expect of you
  • Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of product development for data solutions & track record of leading product development initiatives OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of product development for data solutions & track record of leading product development initiatives experience OR
  • Diploma and Minimum of 8+ years of product development for data solutions & track record of leading product development initiatives experience
Must-Have Skills:
  • Experience in leading and collaborating in agile scrum teams
  • Experience in defining and communicating product vision and strategy
  • Experience in 4+ years maintaining product artifacts such as product roadmap and backlog
  • Experience in composing and reviewing user stories.
  • Experience leading conceptualisation through roll-out/release of new features and functionality, in partnership with collaborators and engineering team.
  • Experience working effectively in global, multi-functional teams.
  • Experience communicating effectively using both offline and online forms of communication
  • Experience with product teams building integrated data solutions
Good-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience working with financial and/or workforce data
  • Conceptual understanding of data platforms such as Databricks and software development lifecycle management
Professional Certifications:
  • Relevant agile/product management(preferred)
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to run multiple priorities successfully
  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals
