Job Description

ROLE
In this role, you'll be joining our Digital team as a Project Manager in the Delivery Management Office (DMO) within Corporate Technology (CT). This team serves as a main point of contact for all programmes and projects. You will be the project lead for one or more projects overseeing multiple workstreams to ensure end to end delivery of business and technology led digital initiatives. To succeed, you will work closely with release & change management, Project Management Office (PMO), business leaders and technical delivery teams including development, test, UX and architecture workstreams. The ideal candidate will have strong delivery management expertise in traditional project management methodologies as well as Agile ways of working with confidence in speaking to executive level stakeholders.



TECH/ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Hands-on experience of managing projects for 5+ years
• Strong understanding of traditional project management methodologies and frameworks including PRINCE2, PMP or alternatives and Agile methodologies including Scrum and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
• Experience and fluency in being able to communicate efficiently at all levels from technical teams to executive stakeholders
• Strong risk, commercial and dependency management experience
• Ability to work effectively with other project managers / workstream leaders under a Programme / Portfolio
• Being able to navigate the organisation effectively to ensure successfully delivery of projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written communication skills to produce impactful Steering / Board packs and high level stakeholder updates


PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow. 
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to manage own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision
• Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a positive & pro-active attitude to work.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial markets are desirable.
