Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in specific projects to create and implement manufacturing processes.

  
  

• Apply manufacturing principles to improve equipment and processes.

  
  

• Contribute to the development of manufacturing standards and working methods.

  
  

• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on project assignments.

  
  

• Learn and apply manufacturing principles relevant to Cummins.

  
  

Qualifications

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

. .Experience:

• 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, with a focus on MES support, implementation, and training.

. .Skills and Competencies: . .

• Core competencies in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering (50%).

  
  

• Proficiency in controls engineering (30%) and IT acumen (20%).

  
  

• Basic understanding of databases, software (Digital tools), and manufacturing processes.

  
  

• Exposure to Manufacturing Process planning and line design using digital tools.

  
  

• Familiarity with MES Downtime management and communication protocols like OPC and MQTT.

  
  

• Expertise in Automation, PLC controls (Siemens/Rockwell software), and Apriso.

  
  

• Ability to execute Java/PL/SQL queries and familiarity with 3D Factory Simulation tools (e.g., Delmia).

  
  

. .Additional Skills (Secondary): . .

• Functional Manufacturing knowledge and additional IT acumen.

  
  

• Experience with other 3D Factory Simulation tools like Flex/Plant Simulation is a plus.
