Job Description:


Leading Digital Transformation Initiatives: Championing the digitization of operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This involves identifying opportunities for user experience, process automation, and data analytics and implementing relevant technologies such as Business Process Management (BPM), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and AI/ML.


Lead & manage the team of business analysts: providing mentorship, guidance, and direction to ensure high-quality work and timely delivery. Monitor and report on the performance and progress of business analysis activities and take corrective action when necessary.


Collaboration & Business-Capabilities Alignment:  Develop and maintain substantial relationships with stakeholders, includingmanagers, analysts, and operations teams, to understand their challenges, goals, and technology requirements. Ensure the initiatives and solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of the function & are integrated seamlessly across various operational processes.


Requirements Gathering and Analysis:


  • It is conducting a thorough analysis of existing operational processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. This involves mapping current workflows and pinpointing where digital tools can optimize these processes.


  • Coordinate and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to elicit and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.


  • Analyze these requirements and translate them into precise technical specifications to guide the development and implementation of suitable solutions.


  • Ensure that project deliverables, such as user interface, functional specifications,  business process models, and data integration, are accurate, complete, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.


Project Management: Oversees the execution of the capability's programs related to the UI business. This includes project prioritization, planning, resource allocation, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet the agreed-upon requirements.


Continuous Improvement and Innovation:


  • Establishing a framework for continuous process improvement post-implementation, where digital solutions are regularly evaluated and updated to ensure ongoing operational efficiency and effectiveness. This also involves empowering teams to identify and suggest areas for process improvement.


  • Staying informed about the latest trends and technologies in process design and optimization and applying innovative approaches to enhance operational processes.


Leveraging Data Analytics for Process Insights: Utilizing data analytics to gain insights into operational processes. This involves analyzing data to understand process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.


Partners, Platforms, & Vendor Management: Collaborating with platforms, partners, and technology vendors to assess and select appropriate software or tools for the business. Evaluate proposals and manage relationships to ensure the delivery of quality solutions and services.


Change Management and User Adoption: Guiding teams through transitions, fostering adaptability, and ensuring seamless integration of new processes and systems.


Data Governance, Risk, and Security: Collaborate with the security team to implement robust data governance and security measures to protect against data breaches and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Identify potential risks in process changes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.


Performance Metrics and KPIs: Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) for process optimization and regularly monitoring these metrics to assess the impact of digital initiatives on operational efficiency.


Skills and qualities required


  • Experience:


    • Minimum five years of experience in management roles covering business functions, digital transformation, or IT consulting.


    • High proficiency in Design Thinking, Agile methodology, Team Structures, Change Management, and Product development.


    • Preference to previous experience in a business partnering or project management roles covering cross-functional/global teams & delivering Capabilities /Technological products/programs.


  • Education:


    • A bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, computer science, business administration, analytics, or a related field.


    • Preference to MBA.


  • Business Acumen


    • Candidates should be able to demonstrate how capabilities solutions can drive value and contribute to the company's success.


    • Strong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain domains.


    • Familiar with fundamental business and operations processes: Order to Cash / procure to cash / Sales Pipeline / Record to Report.


    • Fundamental Knowledge of  Finance and Profit & Loss.


    • Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to make informed decisions about process improvements.


    • Experienced in User Journey, Process Mapping, and Modeling: visualizing and documenting the steps of user journey, supporting process and data requirements.


    • Experienced in Business process improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies that focus on reducing waste, improving quality, and optimizing processes.


    • Experience managing relationships with technology vendors and knowledge of the vendor selection process & negotiations.


    • Experience in Managing strategic and Tactical Change management via Kotter 8 Steps, ADKAR, and Nudge methodologies.
