The Role: Digital Engagement & Training Associate


The Team:


The Capital IQ Solutions Business Development Team works collaboratively, with a wide mix of internal and external stakeholders, to affect the growth strategy of S&P Global’s CIQ and CIQ Pro franchise, including: execution of revenue and growth strategy for the desktop; establish packaging and pricing with alignment from other Business Lines, Sales & Marketing; own the day-to-day desktop customer experience; and deliver insights to inform desktop roadmap


Within the CIQ Solutions Business Development Team, the Digital Engagement & Training Team (the Team) manages the digital and self-service resources available today in CIQ and CIQ Pro to help engage, communicate, and train our users within all client segments. The different tools and resources managed by the team include: CIQ & CIQ Pro Release Management, CIQ Pro Academy, Videos, Training Webinars, In-Platform Communications, and Help Site / Knowledge Base.


This role collaborates across various groups, including the team and the wider CIQ Solutions Business Development team, Client Support, Customer Success, Sales & Account Management, Product Specialists, Product Managers, Content and Technology, and more.


Your impact:


As a Digital Engagement and Training Associate, you will play a critical role in enhancing the user experience in CIQ and CIQ Pro through the management of the Help Site / Knowledge Base. Your efforts in managing the CIQ & CIQ Pro Help Site will directly contribute to the product’s success by ensuring both internal and external users are well-informed and proficient in utilizing the platform’s features. This role also provides the opportunity to learn and manage other impactful digital and self-service assets, including training webinars, videos, in-platform messaging, release resources and more, to ensure users are aware of the relevant features and enhancements and trained on using the platform. In this role, you will impact the company's ability to retain and grow its user base by providing helpful resources to educate and train users that leads to increased usage in the platform over time and foster a knowledgeable and engaged user community.


Responsibilities:


Knowledge Base Management:


  • Develop, maintain, and update the Capital IQ Pro Help Site / Knowledge Base to ensure it reflects the latest product features, best practices, and user guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product managers, client support, content teams, developers, and subject matter experts to gather accurate information and publish articles that address user questions and feedback.
  • Work closely with the Client Support team to develop strategies and manage projects that enhance the Help Site / Knowledge Base content and training materials
  • Monitor user feedback and analytics to identify content gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Digital Engagement & Training Resources:


  • Work with the Digital Engagement & Training Lead to help coordinate and manage training webinars that address user needs and demonstrate key product features and functionalities.
  • Help track and analyze webinar performance metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Engagement & Training Lead to learn and help manage in-platform messaging within CIQ and CIQ Pro
  • Collaborate with the Digital Engagement & Training team and product teams to help create and distribute release notes, release highlights, and other educational release resources that are clear, accurate, and accessible to users

What We’re Looking For:


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Economics or related field preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, client support, or a related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
  • Any experience with Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms and Office Plug-in.
  • Any knowledge of Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams and stakeholders across functions.
