Pure is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevSecOps engineer, you will build, operate, and maintain infrastructure and tools for both traditional on premises and cloud. A successful candidate for this role will continuously improve the security of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline, by resolving gaps, streamlining redundancies, and automating all that can be automated.


SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...


  • Contribute to the development of establishing infrastructure-as-code
  • Aid in the development of containerized, immutable infrastructure
  • Leverage tooling to identify and remediate excessive entitlements, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations
  • Contribute and update infrastructure systems to incorporate security policies and standards
  • Engage with multiple development teams to ensure adherence to secure development standards
  • Integrate and surface security tooling within our CI/CD pipeline

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...


  • Have a solid background building secure and reliable software systems
  • 8+ years building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • 4+ years of experience with languages such as C++, Python, and Java
  • Possess knowledge of securing, preferably both on-prem and cloud-based, applications, systems, databases, and processes
  • Familiarity with security considerations within the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent years related experience required
  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment
  • You will be based in Bangalore, India. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
