Job title: DORT Solution Designer1.0 Role ProfileAs a Solution Designer, you will handle data architecture to support data processing, modelling, integrations, and reporting. You will also work to frameworks for data cataloguing, security, privacy, and lifecycle management, collaborating with business and technology leads to identify resilient solutions. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives.The results for DORT have high impact and are critical to comply to the regulatory reporting and data asks from Group Risk, Operational Resilience and Data Governance Teams. The solution designer will work with Product Owners, Project Management and Delivery SMEs to ensure the technology we delivery aligns to the business strategy and customer expectations.The role sits within the Corporate Technology Delivery function working with the Senior Product Manager and provides technology services to Corporate Functions Teams for LSEG.Key ResponsibilitiesLead architectural designs to optimize information leverage, integration, performance, and availability. Maintain data architecture framework, standards, principles, artifacts and roadmap.Product Lifecycle Management: Lead all aspects of the entire product lifconceptualizationrom ideation to retirement, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction and key turning points for product development.Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends. Research and recommend new technologies, techniques, and tools.SaaS Solutions Management: Run the development and lifecycle of SaaS solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.Business Analysis: Conduct thorough business analysis to understand and detail business requirements, processes, and workflows. Define data flows and lead in crafting data solutions considering business requirements, functionality, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance.Consulting: Provide consulting to internal and external partners on product strategy, implementation, and optimization. Define standard processes in data migration, integration, extraction, and destruction.Product Development: Lead the development of new data products, maximising data analytics and insights to create innovative solutions.Candidate Profile / Key SkillsQualifications:Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Data Architect, with at least 3 years in Financial Services sector.Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
