You oversee the lifecycle of diverse, interdependent, cross-functional, multiple projects through a set of practices and a release plan. This includes disparate scope, resource dependencies, cross-project alignment, deployment planning, release execution and transparent reporting of release results for SAP and SAP-Integrated projects.
How you will contribute
You will oversee the operational responsibilities required to deliver projects and software releases following MDLZ best practices in Project governance and release governance, including project scope, review and approval, release-level RAID management, TG approvals, release governance boards and final preparation for project and release go-lives. In this role, you will conduct alignment sessions with senior leaders and other stakeholders to confirm that release schedules are aligned to business goals and then communicate the release roadmap to broader internal and external stakeholders. You will use your 8-12 years of project delivery and governance experience in software delivery lifecycle of SAP projects to influence leadership and projects.

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Performance Test Lead to spearhead our SAP transformation program. In this critical role, you will lead a team of performance engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the optimal performance and scalability of our SAP landscape, data lake, and its integration with a complex ecosystem of non-SAP applications, including Salesforce and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of performance engineers.
Assign tasks, review deliverables, and provide guidance.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Performance Test Strategy:
Collaborate with EnterpriseSolution Architects, business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand performance requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies.
Design and implement performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts for SAP applications, Non-SAP applications, data lake, Salesforce, and GCP components.
Test Execution and Analysis:
Oversee the execution of performance tests, monitor system behaviour, and collect performance metrics.
Analyse performance test results to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and areas for optimization.
Generate detailed performance reports, including test results, analysis, and recommendations.
Performance Optimization:
Work closely with SAP Basis, ABAP, Java, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
Implement performance optimization techniques to improve system responsiveness and scalability.
Performance Monitoring:
Utilize performance monitoring tools to track system performance in production environments.
Proactively identify and address potential performance issues.
Stakeholder Management:
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including SAP Basis, ABAP, Java developers, data engineers, cloud architects, and business leaders.
Present performance test results and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in performance testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong proficiency in performance testing tools like TricentisNeoLoad, JMeter, and SAP-specific performance testing tools.
Deep understanding of SAP architecture, including ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP modules.
Experience in testing end-to-end scenarios involving SAP, data lake, Salesforce, and GCP components.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify performance bottlenecks.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of performance engineers.
Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace) and cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Stackdriver) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
