PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES


Non-ABAP Assembly Services (NAAS) team, part of the Production Services unit, is an integral area of 
PE Enterprise Adoption, handling DevOps, assembly/build & release Area, code signing and shipment of artifacts to SAP customers on all shipment models like on-premise, on-cloud, on-device. Processes are continuously adapted to the requirements of new SAP products and technologies.


The NON-ABAP Assembly team enable various development teams on CI/CD pipelines to ensure best in class DevOps and development practices across SAP. To support this journey, well established DevOps principles are a must. 


Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, a core area of the DevOps paradigm, enables developers to manage their entire development environment, testing scenarios, deployment landscapes on SCP, thus enabling quick shipment to customers with high quality, transparency and confidence. 


We also provide Consulting for development teams regarding assembly and delivery processes in On-premise.   



EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


•    3-7 years of experience in a similar roleExpertise in DevOps principles
•    Strong working experience in CI/CD Tools (Azure, Piper, Jenkins, Hyperspace) 
•    Experience in independent handling of projects
•    Strong in Analytical thinking and excellent communication skills
•    Programming Skills: Go, Groovy, CAP (UI5, NodeJs, HANA)
•    Knowledge in Grafana, docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins, Github, SAP BTP (CF, Kyma), Azure is desirable. 



EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


After an intensive training phase, you will take care of the assembly for SAP products.


•    You will be involved in end to end life cycle of applications (Design, Development, Testing and deployment of inhouse solutions).


•    On the technical front your work will include CI/CD pipeline set for the product you will work upon. 


•    An open opportunity to improve/enhance solutions with a plethora of open-source state of the art tools available today.
