Position Summary:


We are looking for a DevOps engineer with a focus on driving operational excellence best practices for the DevOps organization. As a member of the DevOps team, you will work directly with a global team of DevOps engineers and engineering teams to support continuous integration, testing, and delivery needs across the product organization. You will focus on building, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting critical infrastructure for these engineering teams including source code repository management, pipeline configuration, build and packaging scripts, test execution, reporting, deployment and release pipelines, and tooling. You will own process improvement initiatives to maintain code base integrity (including check-in validation rules, branch/merge processes, and defect resolution retrospectives), and will develop self-service tools and solutions for our build, test, and deployment infrastructure.


Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Designing and orchestrating the provisioning, installation, dynamic configuration, monitoring and maintenance of services in the cloud environment
  • Automation work to eliminate the need for manual updates and direct intervention•Work in a collaborative environment with multiple organizations across time zones
  • Using monitoring systems to detect service and security issues and diagnose/fix service performance to achieve the highest levels of system availability, performance, and security
  • Troubleshooting and creating tools to resolve incidents and work to ensure that service level commitments are achieved
  • Enforce Intellectual property protections, defend against threats, enforce regulatory and compliance procedures, and support security audits
  • Migration of legacy on-premise systems into cloud
  • Document personal plans, methods, implementations, and/or changes
  • Embrace new ideas that produce outstanding results for our customers through collaboration

Position Requirements:


  • A rigorous approach to problem-solving

  • The ability to pick up new technologies quickly and rapidly deep dive
  • Experience with production SAAS cloud hosted environmentsand understands the core concepts of Internet protocols
  • Experience inAWS or other public cloud-based deployment and support
  • Programming/Languageskills –bash scripting, Python, GO, SQL, NoSQL, log query languages, or related
  • Ability to administer, configure, optimize and monitor services and/or infrastructureat scale. CentOS, Debian,and Amazon Linux are our base distributions
  • May administer, configure, optimize, and monitor one or more system components including:•CICD pipelines including Jenkins, Team City
  • Large scale datasystems including Relational DB, ELK, Mongo
  • Virtual compute systems and/or Kubernetes, Docker containers, Hadoop
  • Messaging systems including RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus
  • Network infrastructure, cyber security controls, and/or other emerging technologies
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Cloud Formation

Preferred Education/Experience:


  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Technical certifications in public clouds or infosec related domains
