We are currently seeking a Development Scientist I who will be responsible for conduct research and development activity in Flow cytometry for developing flow cytometry products. The role will contribute to the product launch of immunophenotyping panels including feasibility studies, development of protocols, analytical methods for testing of the multicolor panels for Leukemia & Lymphoma.


This role also demands knowledge of basic to moderate experience  of flowcytometry fundamentals, Data analysis, hands on experience with single color & multicolor flowcytometry assays, problem solving skills, familiarization on analytical techniques, and technology transfer to deliver consistent and cost-effective production processes to GMP manufacturing. The incumbent participates in planning studies for the development, evolution and optimization of product design; maintains well organized laboratory notebooks in compliance with relevant procedures; and supports post-launch activities to resolve performance and/or quality issues. This is an individual contributor role.


The incumbent will be based in Bangalore and this will be an on-site working job.


In this role, you will be responsible for:


Boundary Conditions/Authority Levels: Receives instruction on routine work


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Participates in the routine data analysis , collection, design and development of system applications. Manage and inform project related inventory requirements to the project planner in time. Reports status of experiments to supervisor/Technical lead.


  • Applies analytical skills to interpret data and uses independent judgment and discretion in developing solutions to a variety of work problems of moderate scope and complexity


  • Able to troubleshoot issues, identify root cause and strive towards solutions for identified problem.


  • Responsible for creating technical presentations and updating relevant functions on the same


  • Responsible for supporting preparation of high quality technical documents and reports Responsible for strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory guidelines. Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Performs other related duties as required.


The required qualifications for the job include:


  • Experience in immunology, Biology or related life sciences field with Industrial/ (will add value) clinical experience such as on Flow cytometry , immunophenotyping, or other assay development techniques.


  • Flow cytometry Sample preparation & processing, Acquisition, Data analysis, Data interpretation, Assay optimization would be an added advantage.


  • Degree in Immunology, cell biology, Life sciences or related discipline, for example Bachelor’s Or Master’s degree with more than 3 to 5 years’ experience  in the relevant field.
