Are you a Performance & Scalability enthusiast with a passion for delivering highly resilient cloud applications/services? We are looking for an Associate Cloud Developer with experience/interest in Performance & Scalability.

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is the base for all innovations at SAP. With SAP BTP’s rapid expansion, it is super important and challenging to ensure that all our services scalable and performant.

We are looking for a developer who will work in supporting performance and scalability tests across all BTP runtimes and applications. .

What you’ll do

• Design and deliver performance and scalability tests for stakeholders
• Do a detailed RCA and identify the bottle neck for any performance issue
• Identify different ways to simplify the over performance test process and automate them
• Ready to work on Testing, Ops, Documentation, Rollout and Stakeholder support
• Work closely with other internal teams, such as product management, development, and end-users to ensure product success.
• Customer first attitude – ready to work on mitigating any customer/stakeholder issues

What you bring

• 1 – 3 years of prior experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Handson experience in performance and scalability tests. Good knowledge in any of the load generating tools
• Scripting/Coding knowledge (any language – preferably python/nodejs)
• Very good logical mindset to detailed root cause analysis
• Knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker will be preferred
• Open to learn, adapt and contribute to Open Source technologies (Cloud Native)
• Fluency both written and spoken in English,
