What you'll do


We are looking for highly java skilled programmers with experience building web applications for SAP Fieldglass also called as ISBN External Work force who is a market leader Vendor Management area. Job expectation includes designing, developing, and delivering software modules and components related to Java technologies. The individual in this role will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, developing, and implementing new solutions, and providing ongoing support for existing solutions.


THE ROLE:


  • Have the foresight to identify best solutions for specific situations and contribute ideas to enhancing the SAP Fieldglass application based on both internal and client needs.
  • The individual must have a strong understanding of the SAP Fieldglass software and its capabilities, as well as the ability to work with the customer success team.
  • Become an expert in all facets of the SAP Fieldglass’ proprietary services procurement application.
  • The individual must also be able to work with other teams to ensure the software is functioning properly and is up to date.
  • This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Participate in special projects and teams when required as well as take part in meetings with clients’ technical personnel as required.
  • Work with product managers and designers to ensure the software is designed well and meets UX needs.

What you bring


Required Skills: -


•         Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Engineering.


•            1-3 years of hands-on experience on below technologies


  • Java / J2EE programming environment.
  • Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Good understanding of Java and JEE internals (Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
  • Familiarity with REST API, SOAP Web services, XML, JSON and ReactJS
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL Server and ORM technologies
  • Experience with Java frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and principles, such as Agile and Scrum
  • Knowledge of writing Unit Test cases using framework like Selenium is preferred.

•            Must show an ability to apply problem-solving techniques to application, environment, and to data issues.


•            Results-oriented, self-motivated, and organized while demonstrating the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.


•            Solid work ethic and dedication to producing high quality accurate work.


•            Must show strong analytical skills and can translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Fieldglass, an SAP company, provides a cloud-based Vendor Management System (VMS) to manage contingent workforce and services procurement programs. More than 800 customers leverage Fieldglass to gain visibility into their external workforces, including contingent labour, services managed through Statements of Work and independent contractors while optimizing spend, quality, compliance, and efficiency.
