We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Delivery Head


In this role, you will:


  • Team Development: Help develop a team of highly skilled engineers that will cross-pollinate best practices and engineering excellence across the organization through inspirational and engaging leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current processes, practices, and tools to make improvement recommendations and lead the implementation of each, focusing on DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Skill Assessment and Training: Assess team skill and capability maturity, define and implement training plans to match team and personal improvement roadmaps, particularly in DevSecOps and Agile practices.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Introduce industrial best practices (e.g., DORA, SPACE framework) to build an engineering excellence team and coach Agile best practices to optimise team processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Coach delivery PODs retrospectives to instill a continuous improvement mindset into the team's DNA and uplift delivery maturity through DevSecOps practices.
  • Blameless Culture: Support management in building a 'blameless' culture, encouraging experimentation and learning from failure.
  • Innovation and Strategy: Inspire the organisation to embrace innovation, help plan innovation strategies, and coordinate innovation incubation events (e.g., Hackathons).
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Coach teams on building effective feedback loops with customers/business and incorporate customer feedback to evolve products.
  • Employee Happiness: Actively monitor employee happiness and be the voice of employees to increase team satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide engineering expertise in areas such as data engineering, security engineering, and user experience engineering. Design and engineer software with customer/user experience as a key objective.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to all standards and policies within the area of Technology Engineering, including compliance with relevant controls and regulations.
  • Service Resilience: Ensure service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all software solutions delivered.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Work as a trusted advisor to influence senior executives on transformation strategy and support strategy implementation, while actively engaging with business and operation teams to support value stream alignment.
