Design Manager

     Roles & Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be capable to develop the concept of special purpose machine as per the customer requirement.
•  Responsible to Provide the support in case of technical decision making for engineering, in conjunction and Coordination with the concerned design engineer and project manager.
• Ensured that all Projects are delivered on time, within budget & meet quality standards.
•  Provide guidance, mentorship & training to team members to ensure optimal performance & professional development.
•  Responsible for coordinating with team members & prioritizing the workload to ensure project deadlines are met.
•   Responsible for conducting root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions to resolve mechanical issues.
•  Responsible for checking complete 2D & 3D drawings, DAP & Cycle time sheet prepared by each design person to avoid any type of rework.
•  Responsible for checking the design calculations calculated for the selection of different commodities like Pneumatic slide, grippers, rotary actuators, valves etc, Indexer, Motors, Sensors, Robot, dispensing unit, vision unit, laser marker unit, Linear guideways system & others with respect to application requirement.
•    Responsible for analysing the team member efficiency with respect to ECN & completion of projects within assigned time.
•   Responsible for checking the team member daily work report for proper tracking & analysis of time utilisation.
•    Responsible for organizing and retaining all relevant project documentation including testing & validation data.
•    Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks; share new information with team members.
•  Responsible for working in compliance with the provisions of the Health and Safety Act and the regulations.

     Qualifications Require: BE/B-Tech Mechanical.
1.    13-16 year’s experience in automation or relevant industries.
2.    Have a good hand in SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
3.    Should have the knowledge of MS office.
