Job Description: 

• Overall responsible for Engineering activities which includes, DAP drawing preparation, detail drawing release to factory, Schedule preparation and monitoring, reporting the progress and timely review with his HOD.
• Responsible for preparing overall engineering schedule for the projects from DAP stage to detail drawing release.
• Design review scheduling with HOD and review regularly with HOD. Review to be done for product design, time chart, calculation, test plan creation, commissioning, and safety, FMEA reviews.
• Co-ordination with HOD and ensure all the RFQ points are taken care during DAP stage and detailing is done according to DAP approval.
• Co-ordinate with manufacturing and installation department to resolve any technical problems noticed during execution of project.
• Coordinate initiatives with other functional managers to improve the process and reduce the product cost.
• Taking quick action for the technical issues raised during installation & commissioning.
• Ontime submission of Operation and Maintenance manual to customer.
• Providing flow chart to the programmer and explaining before start of programming.
• Creation of necessary item codes for the mechanical items in the SAP system for other department use.
• Timely implementation of PDM software.
