The purpose of this position is to execute BU specific product design for customers according to set standards.
- Provide cost effective design solutions for customer requirement based on set guidelines (both during Acquisition stage and product development stage). Participate customer discussions during alignment meetings. Document experience gained during design tenure.
- Provide necessary design support/solutions during DFMA, DFMEA, localization, series topics, benchmarking, fixtures designs
* Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical)
* Masters in engineering (desirable)
2 to 5 years of experience in product design/simulation
* Basic knowledge about product development process (BES process (desired)), material, plastic mold tooling & manufacturing, norms/standards
* Basic knowledge on product design, design calculations & simulation. Good proficiency with CAD software, GD&T
