Design Engineer Infrastructure Water Supply and Drainage

Job Profile

• Water Supply and Drainage Engineer: Infrastructure Design, well-versed with water supply demand estimates, Design of Water Supply-Sewerage and Drainage planning and design for green field and brown field projects.
• Also having strong technical leadership analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills to join our project management and Aizawl Sustainable Urban Transport project team.

Main responsibilities include:

• Project Site reconnaissance and site inventory collection.
• Verification of Topo Data
• Development of Design Basis for Water Supply/Drainage/sewerage.
• Demand Estimations, Source identification, Water Supply network layout/ Sewerage network/Design of STP and drainage planning in line with the road network.
• Consultation with the Stakeholders (PHE)
• Prepare and finalize the Master Plans (Water Supply /Sewerage/Drainage) for the project site at:
• Skywalk
• Vertical mobility
• Corridor and Junction (2 corridors)
• Bus and maxi cab terminals (3 nos.)
• Truck terminals (3 nos.)
• City bus depots (6 nos.)
•  Coordination with the inter disciplinary teams for the client delivery as per the ToR.
• Development of BoQ and Costing in coordination with the Quantity Surveyor.
•  All the Civic (water Supply/ Sewerage/ drainage/ STP) works should be prepared using an integrated approach that adopts smart growth principles, keeping in mind the future needs, potential impacts of such proposed investments in physical development terms on the surrounding land-use(s) of sub-projects/ project sites, viable new technologies for enhancing efficiency of service delivery and effective coverage; and adopting low-impact development/ green infrastructure principles, as feasible.

Minimum qualification

• Relevant master’s degree in water supply and infrastructure engineering
• Experience: preferably 12 Years from master’s degree.
• Industry: Design of Water Supply at the infrastructure projects, Townships, smart cities, multilateral funded projects,
• Experience in Master planning and infrastructure planning and Designing at Hill Regions Functional Area: Water Supply, Sewerage Design, Drainage Design, STP design
