This position is required for supporting PUMP Order engineering, design, and development projects with tool knowledge of Auto CAD & Unigraphics software. Knowledge of Teamcenter is a must.


Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:


  • Create assembly, model, and detail part drawings/fabrication drawings using a CAD system.
  • Review drawings and designs to ascertain compliance with customer specifications and to ensure deliverables are workable and manufactured.
  • Review and investigate design alternatives and ensure all factors are considered to meet customer specifications.
  • Prepare clear, complete, and accurate detailed notes or sketches for the designer or drafter to create detailed drawings.
  • Execute projects assigned by the Project lead as per defined quality, OTD & Schedule.
  • Execute the work as per the agreed scope & Standards, operating procedure of Projects, and explore the possibility of automation.
  • Work independently on Auto CAD & UG Software without supervision.
  • Communicate/report/document technical information with the project team and customer.

Education and/or Experience:


  • B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2-4 year’s experience on UG NX Software
  • Basic mechanical design engineering knowledge.
  • Good Knowledge of general fabrication principles, and basic welding knowledge (AWS & ISO).
  • Basic understanding of drawing standards and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
  • Must be capable of using 3D & 2D solid modeling tools.
  • Good Knowledge of Team Center processes and nomenclature.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English (Written and Verbal)


Mathematical: Basic Mathematical principles


Computer Skills: Expertise in Unigraphics Software, Teamcenter,


good understanding of MS Office is an added advantage.
