Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Installation & Commissioning:
- Install and configure CFS-related machinery or equipment such as container handling systems, conveyors, or material handling devices.
- Ensure equipment is fully operational post-installation by conducting necessary tests and adjustments.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Provide ongoing maintenance services to ensure that all CFS equipment and machinery run efficiently and without interruption.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or software issues and resolve them swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
Repairs and Emergency Response:
- Respond to breakdowns or urgent technical issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Identify the root cause of problems and repair machinery or systems on-site.
Customer Support:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, offering them guidance and resolving any technical queries they may have.
- Provide customer training on equipment use, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate service logs and records, documenting all service visits, maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
- Prepare detailed reports for management and clients about equipment status and service activities.
Parts Management:
- Coordinate with the warehouse or parts department to ensure that required spare parts are available when needed for repairs or maintenance.
- Manage inventory of parts, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good condition.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and ensure the equipment operates within required standards and guidelines.
- Ensure all work is carried out with a focus on safe handling and adherence to local laws and regulations.
