Job Description

The Transfer Pricing – Tax team is responsible globally for ensuring that AXA XL complies with Transfer Pricing rules and documentation requirements in all countries in which it operates. Working directly with the business to understand and document the functions, assets and risks in each country, monitoring the results of intra-group transactions, working with external consultants to benchmark against third parties, and producing OECD and other format Local and Master Files.

What will your essential responsibilities include?


·Producing Transfer Pricing documentation in line with local requirements across all AXA business lines and in up to 25 countries. Understanding the different requirements of each country and the differences in business structures, related party transactions and financial results between countries.


·Working with local business management and financial controllers to understand the business requirements and collate data.


·Highlighting any risks arising and providing solutions to minimize the exposure.


·Detailed discussions with Country Managers and other business staff to document Functions, Assets and Risks of the respective entities.


·Managing the TP aspects of tax audits across group entities of AXA.


·Monitoring progress and communicating with the team to ensure filing and audit deadlines are met.


·Maintaining ‘best in class’s quality standards for documentation and managing the expectations of different countries in terms of delivery of the documentation.


·Monitoring the data repository in SharePoint and a risk assessment matrix in Excel


You will report to the Delivery Lead Tax.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:


Required Skills and Abilities:


·Master’s degree in commerce/ Chartered Accountant with relevant years of experience in International / Global Transfer Pricing.


·Effective in MS Office, specifically, Word and Excel. Knowledge of Power BI and Power query will be an added advantage.


·Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.


Desired Skills and Abilities:


·Good analytical skills – the ability to analyse large volumes of data (both narrative and numerical) is important.


·Good organization skills – the team has to obtain and collate information and data from multiple sources.
