Job Description

Overview This role is responsible for supporting CS&L and SC Planning system processes and creation of new tools within this area. The role will interact with the BU Program Team and MU CS&L teams to deliver on the day to day needs of the business whilst also supporting longer term strategic development initiatives where required. Experience of ERP systems will be required in role to develop, build, deploy and maintain systems for the respective teams. This role is essential to ensure the smooth running and continuous improvement of the management support and data interface systems and will also support leads to resolve access / data integrity issues arising from day-to-day operations. Responsibilities System development support Document action list, program manage / review close out and maintain actions database Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders and project teams Set up and/or manage business intelligence systems or portals Location domains / SIT - UAT management Perform technology research and innovation, research activities and provide support to other teams as needed List out ideas for IT to implement based on the business needs Collect information for system enhancements based on business needs Monitor project execution in collaboration with central IT & CSL. Develop digital/IT solutions and manage digital solutions or external digital solutions partners / vendors Look for external vendors and market options, for future implementations and execution of pilots Maintain Existing Maintain IT solution ns (Seeburger, SAP) Perform annual GCS review of the IT tools Conduct regular maintenance for SAP issues (adhoc) Other IT related activities Qualifications SAP / ERP knowledge Knowledge on interfaces and interactions between IT platforms Strong system, reporting, and Microsoft Office skill set to support document management and control. A self-learning ethic to learn new systems and ways of working to continually add value to the team and organisation. Process driven with the ability to influence others outside of their direct control. Ability to prioritise competing demands. Good interpersonal skills to build relationships with a variety of Sector and BU colleagues (often more senior) Fluent in English Ability to translate complex system requirements into simplified operational wording. Role engages across functions and often at a more senior level for materials preparation / requests hence Good communication and interpersonal skills. Business Savvy and professional approach Results oriented. Conscientious focus on presentation and quality of service.
