Responsibilities:
  • Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes, aligning with demand forecasts and organizational goals
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to prevents stockouts or overstock situations, optimizing the balance between demand and available resources
  • Resource Utilization: Efficiently allocate manpower, machinery and materials to maximize productivity and minimize waste and control production costs
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that products meet established standards, addressing any deviations and continuously improving processes
  • Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with various departments such as procurement, production, quality, logistics and sales to coordinate seamless production operations and communicate production plans and changes effectively across the organizations
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness in production operations
  • Risk Management : Anticipate and mitigate potential risks that could impact production schedules such as supply chain disruptions, equipment failures or unforeseen demand fluctuations
Qualifications:
  • Must have Engineering Degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or diploma in mechanical engineering Additional certifications supply chain management, production planning or related areas can enhance qualifications
  • Requires minimum 5 to10 years of relevant experience in production planning and control or related role within the manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP, SAP, MRP Systems and data analysis tool
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze production data, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to make informed decisions and optimize processes
  • Familiarity with quality control systems and methodologies to maintain and enhance product quality standards
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and techniques to ensure optimal stock levels, prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external partners and stakeholders, conveying production plans, changes and addressing concerns
