Department
You will be the part of FLSmidth’ s Production Planning Team for Bawal manufacturing unit to support department goal and targets. This involves overseas customers interactions and involves high level of technical expertise and customer handling skills.
Your Role
As Production Planning Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the full scope of Production Planning and control processes by providing the best commitments to customers in terms Products & Spares delivery, technology, and sustainability in accordance with guidelines and all in compliance with local as well as group regulations and procedures.
Your responsibilities
Creation and scheduling of job orders against Sales Orders.
Preparation of Production Plan inline with the delivery requirements.
Coordinate with Planner (BOM Migration), to ensure accurate attribute mapping at migration level.
Ensure accurate material inputs to buyers to initiate procurement activities.
Provide prerequisites for order execution like – final drawings, ITP, painting specs, packing procedures etc.
Interdepartmental coordination to receive material on time and initiate production activities as planned to ensure timely deliveries.
Closely coordinate with Purchase, Production & Project Managers to resolve queries if any.
Organize weekly Material and Production review meetings.
Prepare and submit weekly progress report to Project Managers.
Frequent review of Budget vs Actual to ensure order execution within the budget.
Coordinate with Quality & Project Manager for inspection and dispatch clearances.
Ensure SLOB reduction & inventories at optimum levels.
Timely submission of monthly reports.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed University
8 to 10 years of experience in production planning & control
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Hands on experience in ERPs.
Understanding of technical specification & drawings in purchase orders.
Planning and Organizing Coping with Pressure and Setbacks Strong communication.
Expert in MSOffice including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
