Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels across the organisation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong team engagement and mentoring
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and across a matrix environment
  • Strong team building and influencing skills
  • Ability to establish a high level of credibility and forge strong working relationships with senior internal and third-party stakeholders
  • Understanding and practical experience of digital technology development (e.g. eLearning authoring) to ensure business use of technology solutions meet the required standards. Processes are chosen based on knowledge, experience and data.
Key Responsibilities include: Design and Production: 
  • Create visually appealing and impactful designs for various mediums, including print, digital, social media, and presentations. 
  • Develop and maintain brand voice and guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual assets. 
  • Produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, infographics, and layouts that align with GSK’s brand identity. 
Collaboration: 
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Communications, and Product teams to understand project requirements and objectives. 
  • Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and other team members to develop cohesive and engaging visual content. 
  • Provide creative input and suggestions during brainstorming sessions and project meetings. 
Project Management: 
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. 
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and communicate project status to stakeholders regularly. 
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects. 
Innovation and Creativity: 
  • Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies. 
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate design processes and outputs. 
  • Experiment with new design software, tools, and techniques to enhance creativity and efficiency. 
Quality Assurance: 
  • Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks of all design work to ensure accuracy and high standards. 
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to meet project requirements. 
  • Ensure all designs are optimized for various platforms and devices.
