Technical Skills
  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Operations/DevOps engineering or a similar role. 
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, and ArgoCD. 
  • Experienced in containerization & Helm charts development. 
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)  
  • Proficiency in Linux systems administration and shell scripting. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). 
  • Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and disaster recovery strategies in cloud and Kubernetes environments. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 


Roles and Responsibility

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with development/application teams to gain deep understanding of existing application architecture, dependencies in-order to plan and execute migration strategy for application modernization with approaches such as rehosting, refactoring, rehosting.
  • Ensure seamless integration, minimal downtime & service disruption during migration.
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and ArgoCD for efficient, automated application delivery.
  • Develop and manage Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts to deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters (on-prem or cloud environments like Azure AKS, AWS EKS, or GKE).
  • Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for application deployment, utilizing Kubernetes best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of applications in Kubernetes environments using Prometheus, Grafana, EFK or other monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges, ensuring the reliability and uptime of production services
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 


Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (CKAD/CKA).
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Experience in microservices architecture and deploying highly available distributed systems.

Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools
