Role purpose:
- Incident Management: End to End Management of customer networks and providing a rapid response to customer raised incidents and problems
- Change Management:
- Asses the BAU changes and provide Task Implementation Document
- Perform move, add or delete changes on the network as per standard change process
- Configuration Management: Manage configurations and implementations
- Performance management and trend analysis
- Preventative maintenance
Note: It’s a 24*7 Profile, The candidate should be willing to work on shifts
Key accountabilities (Role Description):
- Analyzing existing networking design and setup with cables connectivity and able to support on INC, CHG and WO.
- Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, WLC, AP and restore the customer service on priority.
- Monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability on monitoring platform/tool.
- Creating and implementing scalable Cisco networks according to client specifications.
- Testing and troubleshooting installed Cisco routers, switches, WLC, AP.
- Resolving technical issues with networks, hardware, and software with regards to WAN & LAN failover mechanism.
- Performing speed and security tests on installed networks for IPsec and DMVPN.
- Applying network routing protocol like BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and do route testing.
- Upgrading/replacing hardware and IOS systems when required.
- Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP and DHCP
- Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Creating and presenting networking reports.
- Knowledge of cisco SDWAN fabric
- Understanding of WLC, AP and there association.
- Understanding of QOS
Essential:
- Engineering Graduate (with specialization on Electronics & communication/Information Technology/Computer application/Relevant streams
- Good Understanding of Networking, IT/Telecom processes & products
- Good understanding of ITIL
- Understanding of Network / IT / Telecommunication products and solution
